Tanglewood Apartments

SITE
This existing apartment complex is located in a residential neighborhood, overlooks the Sligo Creek Park, and consists of 11 efficiencies, 48 one-bedroom, 53 two-bedroom and 20 three bedroom units, for a total of 132 apartment units.

PROGRAM
Renovate existing units by providing new kitchens, bathrooms, HVAC and electrical systems, finishes and windows. Provide new entry canopies to all buildings, renovate the leasing office, a new common use facility and refurbished grounds.

SOLUTION
New entrance canopies, fencing and landscape create a “front yard” for the benefit of the tenants. Conversion of accessible units for handicapped and hearing impaired residents. The new leasing office provides a focal point and has been designed as an accessible facility.
